Chuck Schumacher
Owner of the Schumacher family of
dealerships, Chuck Schumacher has
built a strong, highly respected
business that carries some of the
most popular names in the automobile
industry.
The Schumacher family of automobile
dealerships has proudly served the
Palm Beaches for over 34 years.
Chuck Schumacher’s father, Richard
Schumacher sold his dealerships in
Chicago in 1971 and opened
Schumacher Buick in West Palm Beach
that same year. Within the first
year, Schumacher became the number
one
Buick dealer in the state of
Florida.
After his graduation from
SMU, Chuck
returned to Florida to open and
operate the highly successful,
Bayview Buick in Port Richey,
Florida for his family. He soon
returned to run the Palm Beach store
and quickly lead the sales team to
become the number one Buick dealer
in the nation. With keen business
acumen and an unrivalled reputation,
Chuck continued to build the
business adding Oldsmobile in 1989.
Chuck has served on various dealer
advisory boards and counsels in his
over 25 year career. He is past
President of the State Buick Dealer
Group and currently participates in
Marketing Groups for each of his
franchises and holds the office of
President on every board.
In addition, he is a Board Member of
the Florida State Automobile Dealers
Association and the South Florida
Automobile Dealers Association.
Chuck and his wife Amanda are the
proud parents of five children. Time
with his family is his top priority.
As a family, they enjoy travel,
skiing, boating, golf and outdoor
recreation.
Expanding the Business
Chuck carried on the family
tradition of ownership in 1997 when
he personally purchased the current
Northlake Boulevard location,
offering Mitsubishi, Volkswagen,
Pontiac and GMC
Truck. He added Buick and Oldsmobile
to that dealership shortly after.
Schumacher became the Saab Dealer
for Palm Beach County in 1998 and
added Pontiac and Volkswagen at the
West Palm location in 1999 and 2000
respectively. Infiniti and
HUMMER
have joined the group most recently.
Commitment to the Community the Schumacher Family of Dealerships
employs over 425 people in the
community. This award winning team
has joined Chuck in earning some of
the highest honors in the automobile
business. They include the Buick
Best in Class Award, Oldsmobile
Elite, the General Motors Mark of
Excellence and The Jack Smith,

The organization has an ingrained
philosophy about the community it
serves. As important to Chuck as his
customers are the opportunities he
has through the Schumacher
Automotive Group and his employees
to demonstrate what a good corporate
citizen and partner of the community
means.
In addition to financial support,
the family of Schumacher employees
donates hundreds of hours of
volunteer time and has, over the
last 34 years, partnered with many
organizations in their efforts for
Palm Beach County, including the
Boys and Girls Clubs, Easter Seals,
the Red Cross,

Hospice of Palm Beach County, the
March of Dimes, the Boy Scouts,

Focusing on families and children,
education is a high priority.
Support of local primary and
secondary schools in the community
is just the beginning. Local
universities, including Northwood
University and Palm Beach Community
College, have benefited from the
years of experience the Schumacher
team offers.

the organization was honored by the
